After 20 years of doing many different jobs all over the world and raising a family, I took the huge (and at times scary) step to retrain and become a Primary Teacher.
The South Cumbria School Direct course was perfect for me; meeting like-minds, completing self-study based at home and local teaching placements where I experienced everything the profession throws at you (especially during a pandemic).
The course content was engaging, relevant and useful and it was delivered by informative, passionate and inspiring teachers and Head Teachers. I’d like to thank everyone involved in delivering the course for a fantastic year, helping me to qualify for QTS and ultimately to become an Early Career Teacher.
